THE RENOVATION WORK OF THE LOVE BRIDGE (ONG CAY BRIDGE) AT SAIGON RIVERSIDE PARK WAS COMPLETED BEFORE TET HOLIDAY

As an important item in the project “Renovating and embellishing the Saigon Riverside Park, from Ba Son bridge to Thu Thiem tunnel, Thu Duc City”, the love bridge (Ong Cay bridge) “was changed into a new dress”, offering a nice bridge to Ho Chi Minh City’s people, especially during the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024.

Inaugurated on December 23, 2023, Saigon Riverside Park is a popular destination for local residents and tourists, and a place to organize many community activities.

The park includes many main items that have been completed such as sunflower fields, multi-purpose community yard, floating little boats, Riverside Park, walking path, and LED screen system, etc. Not only the nice landscape, but this is also a community’s project, a symbol, and a cultural destination in Ho Chi Minh City.

Welcoming the New Year 2024 and the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin, this place has become the new check-in location: for year-end shopping, entertainment activities, walking and enjoying the nice view of the beautiful city. Since its inauguration, many cultural and entertainment activities and community events have been held such as the 2024 Spring Flower Festival, food bazaar, music performances, hot air balloon festival… attracting many locals and tourists. The investment funds come from socialized sources, in which Khang Dien Group is honored to be the main sponsor for many items.

One of the important projects of the Riverside Park is the renovation of Ong Cay Bridge, which was degraded and affected the landscape before. With funding from Khang Dien Group, Ong Cay Bridge “was changed into a new dress”, becoming a lovely bridge with the lotus leaf symbolizing the development of Thu Duc City. From this bridge, visitors can have a great view to see Saigon River and the city in the background. Completed right before the New Year, considered a “love bridge”, this place will offer an interesting and beautiful destination for Ho Chi Minh City local residents and visitors during the Lunar New Year.

Renovating and embellishing the Saigon Riverbank Park is a meaningful activity that Khang Dien Group is honored to be selected as the main sponsor by the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and Thu Duc City.
