KHANG DIEN GROUP (KDH) IS HONORED TO BE SELECTED FOR THE VNCG50 LIST, FURTHER SOLIDIFYING ITS REPUTATION AS A WELL-GOVERNED COMPANY IN VIETNAM

Khang Dien Group was proudly recognized as one of the top 50 listed companies with excellent corporate governance practices in Vietnam – VNCG50 (Vietnam Corporate Governance), as part of the 7th Corporate Governance Forum on December 5, 2024. The event was organized by the Vietnam Institute of Directors (VIOD) with the support of The International Finance Corporation (IFC), Switzerland’s economic development cooperation (SECO) and The State Securities Commission of Vietnam (SSC).

With the theme “Investing in Corporate Governance: A Strategy to Attract Responsible Investors in the Market globalization,” this year’s forum further emphasized the crucial role of corporate governance in sustainable development and enhancing business competitiveness.

The VNCG50 list, a new initiative unveiled at the forum, was compiled through a rigorous selection process involving corporate governance experts from stock exchanges, fund management companies, securities firms, and independent experts.

Based on the VNX Allshare Index (reflecting the performance of a group of stocks listed on both the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange and Hanoi Stock Exchange), the selection criteria for the VNCG50 list included: Transparency in information disclosure, Quality of annual reports in English, Participation in the assessment using the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) for the past three years.

Khang Dien was honored to be selected for the VNCG50 list due to its effective corporate governance practices, compliance with ACGS standards, and commitment to transparency in all operations. Khang Dien has always adhered to the legal regulations on corporate governance.

In addition to building a strong governance structure based on compliance with Vietnamese law, Khang Dien has also developed and issued a system of internal regulations to create a unified and comprehensive governance mechanism for the professional, transparent, and efficient control and supervision of the company’s operations, thereby ensuring the interests of shareholders and investors.
